Unhelpful in the extreme!

I've been with Allianz for over 5 years and I was happy with them when all I was doing was paying over the odds for a service thinking that if anything went wrong they would be reasonable to deal with - Oh was I in for a surprise when I had to make a claim. Unhelpful staff, painful procedures to follow unnecessary hoops to jump through, they refused to follow the garages recommendation and refused to replace components as suggested. I ended up without a car for several weeks because they wanted to save a few dollars on re-welding rather than replacing and they would not cover 1 cent of that additional cost. All in all I would certainly not recommend paying the over-inflated fees as you certainly will not get the service! DO NOT GO WITH ALLIANZ!!!
