Unbelievable Increase
My husband passed away and they raised the premium over 100% because I had called to put the insurance in my name. Even though the insurance is paid by the mortgage company. None of the customer service people could explain it. They said that it had to do with the fact my husband was over 50 and my insurance score was lower than his. Wow, nothing like penalizing the widow who just called to change the primary on the policy to me from him after he passed away.
