Rev up your review to win an ultimate supercar experience

Leading Australian Insurance comparison website compareinsurance.com.au are sponsoring the Motionsport team at the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 hour race 2014.

Compare Insurance announced their sponsorship today by launching their Bathurst competition - “Rev up your review”, which offers the ultimate prize for any car lover. One lucky winner and a friend will get the once in a lifetime chance to live like a VIP at Australia’s fastest growing endurance race, the Bathurst 12 hour.

The prize:

An all-expenses paid weekend at the Bathurst 12 hour including tickets to the race, accommodation, trackside passes, opportunities to hang out with the Motionsport team members in the pits, and get to drive a Lotus Exige V6, for free, for the whole weekend!

How to enter the competition:

• To enter the competition, visitors need to register and submit a review on their car insurer.
• Each legitimate and approved review will automatically be entered into the competition.
• The competition is free to and open to all Australian residents over the age of 25.

About Bathurst 12 hour:

The Bathurst 12 Hour (Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hour) is an endurance race for GT and production cars held at the Mount Panorama Circuit, in Bathurst, Australia in February each year.

The event was inspired by the long-running Bathurst 1000 touring car race, which began in the early 1960s as a race for production cars with minimal modifications.

The event attracts more than 22,000 people across the three days and is internationally recognised as one of the major GT endurance races in the world.

14 international teams, 55 cars with 3 or 4 drivers (so more than 200 drivers) will make the journey to Australia to compete, bringing some of the world’s most famous and prestigious brands including Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, BMW, Lotus, Mercedes Benz, Ford and more.

The 2014 race will be a star studded event with big names from both Australian and international motorsport, like Craig Lowndes and former Ferrari F1 driver Mika Salo. 

International drivers confirmed include former FIA GT Champion Michael Bartels, Factory Ferrari driver Matt Griffin and Lamborghini works pilot Peter Kox, amongst others.

The 50 teams come from across the globe, and include local V8 Supercar team Erebus Motorsport, who won last years event with one of their Mercedes SLS GT3s, along with Nissan Motorsport with their spectacular GT-R GT3 car, along with Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Porsches, Aston Martins and of course the Lotuses which will be spearheaded by Compare Insurance’s Motionsport team!
