The perfect claim!

A lady hit my car in a car park and drove away! Luckily some one was there and wrote her details down and passed them on to me. The police then had her provide me her details which I then provided to CGU and my car was approved to be repaired the following week. Sadly a debt collection company contacted me as the lady was not paying the bill, I did not feel the letter was appropriate to send to me and found it a little scary. However I advised them all the details were in the police report and they have not contacted me since. CGU also gave me a follow up call to ensure I was happy with the repair. Overall a good experience and I will continue to ensure my car with CGU.
