A very expensive lesson
I just realised after making a claim for a break in that my policy does not cover my contents. I lost about 8k worth of cash and items, including a laptop and an iPad. I was not told that the contents was an add on option when I took out my policy. Not happy but nothing can be done now. The small consolation was that they will payout for the broken window as it was a forced entry. A very expensive lesson.
