Used to be great... But
AAMI used to provide great service and decent, not best, but decent prices, and I was happy to pay a higher premium for that. Since Suncorp has taken over the treatment has gone to the dog. I have had a claim dragging for a year, not really by unwillingness to pay, rather by their sheer incompetence at following up and getting off their chairs to actually do some work. This year the premium has gone up a whopping 42%, yes, nearly TWICE the pay rise Newman has voted himself... When I contacted them by mail I faced... Nothing, not an answer, only a reminder that the insurance is due next week... Total contempt for the customer. (ah yes, in between I had organised the insurance with someone else, and advised AAMI to make a decent offer or I'd go... I went.
Goodbye AAMI., spend more energy on your customers, a little less on you ads...
