Making a claim is a nightmare
Claiming is a nightmare. If I could rate lower than a 1, I would. It seems really simple and easy at first. They say all the right things, tell you just what you want to hear, and after medical issues on an overseas holiday it just seems like great service. “Seems” is the word here, cause it is an absolute nightmare actually getting anything paid. Seven months after my first claim I’m now receiving debt collector letters from the hospital, cause they don’t reject your claim, they just don’t pay it. I’m now seeking advice from the Financial Ombudsman Service and want to warn anyone to think twice. Nobody I know or have any influence over will ever use budget direct.
