• That is the meaning of "excess" which is the basic information at purchase. I wouldn't call that a scam, I think buyer needs to make informed buying decision and assume some responsibility.

  • Dah. But if you are only going to cover someone's luggage with no receipt for $100 why wouldn't you waive the excess. If you bought a car for $10000 and the excess for a claim on insurance was $10000 ,you Lis Sun would think it's ok
