Misleading beyond excusable
It's apparent their entire claims assessment procedure is designed to intentionally prevent direct access to claims staff. SEO is clearly being manipulated, the policy wording has extremely ambiguous terms, even defining 'Mobile' as a valuable, and 'Mobile Phone' as an electronic item. Sums insured and sublimits also vague and I suspect intentionally misleading as the wording suggests each item listed as electronic was subject to it's own sub-limit. Depreciation also a joke, higher than ATO depreciation rates, actual replacement cost not even considered for items, benefit table when taking out cover suggests higher insured amounts. It seems like their whole operation was designed to postpone, delay, obfuscate and reduce any legitimate claim settlement by any means necessary. Tick does not act in good faith and has been aware of numerous complaints relating to the above, all of which appear to have been scrubbed. If you buy insurance from Tick, you are only ensuring you may not have cover at all when it counts. You'd be better off running head first into a wall than to count on any level of compassion, service, or delivery of product from a bunch of foreign insurer tin reg. market.
