Embarrassingly poor
I spent five weeks sending all relevant documents to these idiots regarding my claim, only to be knocked back for the most spurious of reasons. I was unable to acquire a police report within 24 hours when I lost my camera in the middle of a national park in Croatia! When I called them, it was obvious that my 'claims officer' Neha Sharma had not looked at a single document I had sent, and that it's policy not to allow too many claims through.
Claims are slow, painful, and all go through an Indian call centre. Trust me, trying to make a call is far worse than actually getting robbed overseas, or breaking your leg, or crashing a car. You won't get a cent back, and will be blamed for your stupidity in getting yourself into such a situation.
Save your time and money and get your insurance with anyone else. Hell, hand a few hundred dollars to the first person you see when you get to that exotic foreign country - he's just as likely to help you out when you need it!
