Unreasonable documentation request
Originally I liked Worldcare because you could insure for one medical pre-condition and not the whole she-bang which most insurance companies want to charge you for, even if you have only one pre-condition. However, after the last trip I submitted a claim as a flight had been cancelled which had messed up our continuing travel arrangements leaving us out of pocket by an amount of money that wouldn't break the bank, but I thought I would try and claim. Even though I gave copies of all the boarding passes and a photo of the Flight Board showing the cancellation, they wanted a letter from the airlines stating why the flight was cancelled. I tried contacting said airline several times, but they ignored my requests. Why should they bother, as they had fulfilled their obligations by getting us to our destination - eventually. If Worldcare can't exercise some commmonsense judgment on this, I would be worried they would find some obscure loophole to not pay a more serious medical claim . I won't insure with them again.
