Read Bad Bad AAMI Poor Car Insurance

Been with AAMI for a long time. Do not insure your car with AAMI, they made me pay for the excess when the other party reversed into my car and she too was an AAMI member (worse thing made both parties pay excesses). Pathetic customer service when claiming and very rude, insisted I was at fault even both parties involved agreed that I wasn't. Switched all insurances to RACV.
THINK again before taking on any insurances with AAMI because when you need to make a claim that is how you get treated.
Should have taken the case to ACCC but too stressed to bother.
Hope all AAMI clients or potential clients seeking for insurance cover READ this review as they need to know the truth about this appalling insurance company.
