So much for comprehensive cover!
My car was recently broken into and a bag and GPS were stolen out of it. I phoned Coles and was advised to take my car to a repairer close to my work and that a claims specialist would give me a call in a couple of days. I phoned again the same day to give them the police case number and ask a few questions about any excess but they wouldn't put me through to claims, they just took a message. A week later (when my car was finally ready) they told me I had to pay the bill because I couldn't provide details of who broke into my car! It doesn't make sense...I am not the police! So much for comprehensive cover. I am now $1,000 out of pocket. Steer clear of Coles for your car insurance!
