1Cover Claim consultant - Carol
I have held many travel policies and luckily enough have never had to lodge a claim, until now. We were 4 days away from travel with my son remaining sick for the entire week prior to travel where dr deemed him unfit to travel until completing 4 days of antibiotics which was an absolute headache but appropriate based on my sons health being the priority. After 8 hours on the phone to various airlines as we have multiple flights + amending accomodation across both countries i was certainly stressed & ready to throw the whole thing away! the thought of going through the process to lodge the claim had me feeling even worse and had me highly stressed as I assumed this would be more challenging then arranging flight and accommodation. I dont know if it was my lucky day but I spoke with a claims consultant named Carol. Carol was able to clearly walk me through the next steps and ensured I was clear in understanding what was needed. We had a couple of minor delays (like 2 hours max) but I was engaged every step of the way, communication was clear & transparent. Updates were frequent and Carol had my matter resolved by Friday COB when the claim was opened only the day before! I felt this was the most genuine service I have ever been provided! Exceptional turnaround time, amazing communication at every single turn! Carol, you have made this experience so much better than what it could have been!
