Never again
We have insured with insure and Go for many years never having had to make a claim. We were reassured with the choice product review and felt confident that this insurance company would look after us if anything untoward happened. During a recent trip to LA I was very ill. Despite repeated calls to the medical assistance team I only ever spoke to someone in the Philippines and never had any assistance other than a series of emails and documents mailed to me. At no point during the horrendous 5 days of illness did this company provide any assistance at all. This, after all, is what you pay for isn't it? The knowledge that if you get ill away from home you will be helped. Additionally my condition if left untreated would have resulted in septic shock however because the treatment was dental of the $4000 AUD we paid in the USA for treatment this company would only approve $400 AUD. Yep that's right 10%. What a joke. Not only did they not help but we were left with an enormous debt as they didn't recognise my condition as a medical emergency. Never ever again will we insure with this company.

The rep told you in a roundabout way, the team will, 'ensure the 'relevant people' receive training and coaching'. I believe the 'relevant people' SHOULD be qualified for the position and NO training & coaching needed. You entered the travel insurance contract believing 'the relevant people' are experienced, this is no fault of yours, it is your right to have been dealing with experienced 'relevant people', who in their right mind would enter into a contract knowing 'the relevant' people need training & coaching.
