unlucky with the verdict wrong officer at the wrong time
Terrible Terrible Terrible a very stressful experience we was just unlucky to have such an inexperienced asessment officer who did not take into consideration bad judgement by travelsmart (DFAT) far too late to close Australian borders. Australian Government was recommending to go on cruise ships in south east Asia where the Pandemic was rife. The staff of the cruise ship was from Northern Italy where there families were dying of COVID19. We cancelled on the28th February because at eighty years old it was not safe to travel to Singapore. Cunard decided not to go to Singapore and Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia refused entry to the Costa line cruise ship that we was going to travel on. The Costa line sent us a generic letter that did not answer our valid questions. So we lost $4,000 AUD and Insure and Go refused to pay us our losses we will not give up on our claim Insure and Go took $1,200 AUD premiom of us an Annual multi trip to cover us from October 2019 until 2020 we certainly did not get value for money most insurance schemes are scams. apart from cat and home insurance. we found that RAC membership driven are much more reliable.
