look OK until you need to claim

Used Southern cross 3 times and was fine until i had to make a claim for a camera. Rate of depreciation used by Southern cross in their PDS stated as "reasonable rate" was 3 years on a camera compared to 7 years at others ( TID was one of these ). For example if I had gone with another company that also states "reasonable rates of depreciation" but uses 7 years as seems standard I would have been $616 better off. Tried to appeal to SCTI but they believe their rates are fine. This is only one example of their rates as the don't disclose what the rates are except for reasonable.Suggest using another company that does disclose their rates.
