Doesn't cover tour cancellations
My tour operator cancelled part of my tour and then stopped replying to emails and wouldn't take phone calls.
TID would only cover it if the tour operator stated in writing that they cancelled part of my tour. Except the tour operator wouldn't return emails or phone calls!
I sent a complaint to them but TID ignored it.
Do yourself a favour and buy travel insurance from a company that actually processes claims.
