Decent
After comparing Bupa with NIB and Medibank, I went ahead with Bupa because they were cheaper. I was after optical, dental and ambulance and also to reduce my medicare tax levy. Bupas choices met those conditions at $70 a month with 70% cost back.
I had to undergo a couple of physiotherapy sessions last month on my inured knee. Fortunately my plan covered physio as well. Claims was easy with HICAPS, however I found out that the 70% cost back was only for Bupa's Members First network provider and my physio wasn't part of that network. I only got back about 35%, but it was all stated in the product summary. Overall, I got what was promised.
