HIGHLY DO NOT RECCOMEND
I went overseas to Hawaii in July 2017, resulted in having an allergic reaction and had to go to Hospital. Had to pay $700US up front to the hospital (assuming we would get it back straight away). I was still trying to claim from Cover-more in May 2018. Absolutely ridiculous! ALMOST 10-11 MONTHS!
They keep coming back to me saying it will be a further 10 days before i get any response.
Or that they need further documentation to support my claim. I don't understand why they don't just request all the required documents to start off with. As I provided all medical documents and filled out all the paperwork necessary from my family doctor/doctor from the Hospital in Hawaii.
Covermore came back and said it was my fault for not providing the necessary documents, although I had already provided all the documents that was necessary for my claim.
Ended up sending the same documents 2-3 times, felt like it was just going around in circles before any progress was made, even then the claim would backfire and I would have to resend the hospital bill or my medical records through to them again. I felt like they are just finding an excuse to not make the claim as we owed $2000US to the Hospital in Hawaii and we had already paid over $1000US on medication and doctors bills.
I eventually received all expenses paid in relation to my medical incident at the end of July 2018, but took well over a year to get anything back. Would really recommend going with someone else, Covermore representatives were no help whatsoever.
