Australia's Leading SCAMMERS, supported by the Commonwealth Bank
We had an International policy through Commonwealth Bank with this Cover-More, travel and hospital cover. 2 adults, one 4 year old, one 1 year old.
First flight got delayed in Perth and we missed our connection in KUL because of this (all flights on the same ticket). The airline booked us on another flight from KUL 24hrs later but with a different destination city. We flew north, had a layover there, then south, had another layover, then north again, another layover we basically flew over our home town 3 times but never landed there. Then, we had to pay for our ticket from that city to the original destination (800 AUD). All good (ironic) - arrived to destination 72 hrs later. Too bad our luggages didn't. We lived through 2 backpacks with 2 sets of clothes each for a few days then we had to buy some basic clothing and toiletries. First small bag finally arrived after 14 days, the second one unfortunately didn't make it. Had my work laptop in that one so I was unable to work at all during the 4 weeks, my job was at a great risk because of this, we had our orthodontic aligners for the next month for me and my husband, all our children's belongings - baby monitors, everything really that you will pack when you go away for 4 weeks with 2 young kids. Everything that you would use on a daily basis. Gone. No worries again (ironic) as we have travel insurance don't we? Made a claim and after many phone calls and emails asking for updates we finally got an outcome. 2 months after. All our claims were rejected "because of the pandemic". This lame excuse used in August 2022 by a...reputable company (ironic), supported by the even more reputable bank, the Commonwealth Bank, when there is no pandemic anymore and when for sure not covid made our flight late, not covid made us missed our connecting flight, not covid lost our luggage and nothing in our claim was covid related or affected by covid. Because the pandemic was over already!! I hope from the bottom of my heart that you all go bankrupt. You and all your staff that had a look on my claim and decided to give me that lame outcome email and reject the claim. And to that staff, I also hope on your next holiday you get stranded somewhere with no money and nothing on you really other than 2 or more extremely tired children, screaming through airports that they want to go home and you can do nothing about it, and at the end of it, your bloody insurance company to reject your claim on the basis of.... the stars were wrong aligned on the sky on that day.
