Cover absolutely nothing
I bought an annual multi trip premium policy with covermore for 2 years running, but when I got stranded abroad due to the corona virus, my 3rd annual policy was up for renewal.
I phoned the office in Australia while I was still abroad asking if I could, (a) renew my policy and (b) would my cover still apply as according to the wording on the policy I would be if I was unable to return home if the circumstances were beyond my control?
I was informed that because I was currently out of Australia then they would NOT renew my policy.
Being a senior citizen is the very reason for buying a travel insurance policy as my risk of becoming ill and requiring medical assistance is increased.
I was shocked and appalled that they could leave me in a vulnerable predicament.
Today I phoned the office as I have finally managed to return to Australia, and asked to speak to the manager to discuss my concerns and was told that I could expect a call from that person somewhere from 24 to 48 hours.
Even outlining my case to the person at the call centre, that's the best they could treat what had been up until now a repeat customer by not immediately allowing me to speak to the manager or someone in authority.
As such I would never recommend this company to anybody and I will make it my business to convey this to my many family and friends about the disgusting service I received. NO MORE COVERMORE

People don't risk getting caught in the same manner as myself, avoid this company at all costs
