Dont die!
4 months ago, my best friend and his wife travelled to Canada for my wedding where his wife unexpectedly and tragically passed away. You would think there would be some level of empathy and compassion in order to make sure the claims process is handled competently. What has happened over this time has been nothing short of deplorable. You would hope a company that prides itself on service would take accountability and not have my best friend needing to call in order to have things progress or be followed up on. After providing everything that had been asked of him with an acknowledgement of receipt, timeframes that he was given passed and there was no courtesy follow up, only to be asked for the same information again! He went through the process of raising a complaint. After being promised by the complaints officer that action will be taken, absolutely nothing was done and he did not here from that complaints officer again. He has now taken the steps of contacting the ombudsman where surprise surprise, covermore failed to respond to their request for information. This is not some lost luggage we are dealing with or compensation due to a flight delay. A human being died and what you have put my friend through is unforgivable.
